Serving Women Veterans
The Barbara Giordano Foundation, Inc. is an Operating Foundation.
We accomplish our mission by offering our own programs for women veterans. We do not offer grants.

Thank You for your Support of our Salute to Women Veterans
We had a wonderful evening on October 20, 2017 at our Salute to Women Veterans. Our honoree, Allison Jaslow, Executive Director of IAVA.org and a former Army Captain and Bronze Star recipient, was inspirational as she spoke about the issues facing women veterans as they transition home from military service.
And we are so grateful to our event sponsor Eileen Fisher for their generous support.
On our EVENTS page are some photos from the evening.
Our next event is our Health and Wellness Summit for Women Veterans, Sunday, May 20th, 2018 at the C.V. Rich Mansion in White Plains, NY. We have moved the date and location of our Summit because of the opportunity to have it hosted at the C.V. Rich Mansion, the home of the White Plains Women’s Club. It is the perfect venue for our work with women veterans.
This event came about as a result of many conversations with woman veterans over the last year in which we listened to their needs and what they most wanted. At the Health and Wellness Summit women veterans will have the opportunity to attend workshops on all aspects of wellness – body, mind, emotions and connection to spirit. It will be a day designed to support them in creating fulfilling lives as well as give them an opportunity to connect with other women veterans of all ages.
This summit is the first of two we will offer in 2018. In the Fall, we will be offering an Education and Employment Summit for Women Veterans, again at the C.V. Rich Mansion. As the date and details are confirmed, we will make them available here and on our Social Media channels.
These events and all our events are completely free to women veterans.
Thank you again for your continued support of our mission.
